VOLCANOES

A volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary-mass object, such as Earth, that allows hot lava, volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface. On Earth, volcanoes are most often found where tectonic plates are diverging or converging, and most are found underwater.

These features are formed through Volcanic Eruption. Volcanoes formed through Volcanic Eruption are known as Volcanic mountains.

It's worth noting that there are different types of volcanoes, such as shield volcanoes, stratovolcanoes, and cinder cones, which have distinct shapes and eruption patterns. These types are classified based on their geological features and behavior. However, these classifications are not specific names for individual volcanoes but rather categorizations based on their characteristics.

Some famous volcanoes are Mount Vesuvius in Italy, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, or Mount St. Helens in the United States.
